Describe the question.
For example: does a learning-rate schedule still improve accuracy when the training budget is held fixed? Include the context and what you want the researcher to test.
DORK / MACHINE LEARNING RESEARCH
Assign work on papers, experiments, and evaluations. Review reports that show what was checked and what wasn’t.

“Does this gain survive an equal-compute comparison?”
PRODUCT
Dork is a Mac app for directing research. Give a researcher a question, relevant papers, and constraints on the work. Assign other researchers to investigate a different approach or review the result.
Research runs in a hosted Lab, so it can continue while your app is closed. When you return, read the reports and decide what to do next.

WORKFLOW
For example: does a learning-rate schedule still improve accuracy when the training budget is held fixed? Include the context and what you want the researcher to test.
Use roles to direct the work: review related papers, test a concrete case, or look for problems in an argument or evaluation.
Reports bring together the researcher’s account, sources, and available evidence. Unchecked work is labelled “Not checked.”
Use Triage to review returns and requests for your attention. Send a follow-up, record a correction, or keep a useful passage.
REPORTS
A researcher’s account and a checked result are different things. Dork labels unchecked accounts Not checked and keeps the supporting evidence available in the report.
A checked computation establishes what was tested with those inputs. It does not verify every interpretation in the report. You can inspect the details before relying on a claim.
Reports and checksWORKSPACE
Research runs on Google Cloud and can continue after you close the Mac app. Work depends on your Lab’s capacity, permissions, and model access.
Hosted Lab guide ↗Add papers and save passages with their original source. Open a cited passage to read the context behind a report.
Library guide ↗Review incoming reports, judge their usefulness, and respond to questions that need your decision.
Triage guide ↗PROVIDERS AND MODELS
Connect your ChatGPT account or a supported API provider. Current Labs use GPT-6 Luna for research; GPT-6.1 Sol is the intended launch default. Claude subscription access is currently development-only. Your provider’s usage limits and data policies apply.
